PARTNER

Education and Experience

Kelly studied Business Administration at the University of Texas at El Paso.  She is a former Delta Airlines Flight Attendant and holds a license with the Department of Insurance. After staying at home and raising her two sons, she decided to pursue her career. Kelly obtained her Enrolled Agent license in 2016 where she worked with two tax firms preparing corporate, partnership and individual tax returns, as well as tax representation.

An Enrolled Agent (EA), is a federally licensed tax practitioner. EA’s are authorized by the U.S. Department of Treasury and follow Circular 230 regulations.  EA’s are the only federally licensed tax practitioners who specialize in taxation and have unlimited rights to represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service.  Enrolled Agents are required to demonstrate to the IRS their competence in all areas of taxation, representation and ethics before they are granted the right to represent taxpayers. Due to the expertise necessary to obtain and hold and Enrolled Agent license, there are only roughly 53,000 practitioners world-wide.

As a Fellow of the National Tax Practice Institute (NTPI), Kelly has mastered a specialized curriculum focused on representing taxpayers before the IRS in situations such as audits, collections, appeals and criminal investigations.  The "NTPI Fellow" is a prestigious designation signifying expertise in the representation of taxpayers before the IRS.
